Training & Proficiency Check Program for Aerodromes
Contact Training Department

The Commission delegated Regulation 2020/2148 on aerodromes and competent authorities entered into force at the end of 2022, introducing, among other things, updated requirements for training and proficiency check programmes.
The aim of the new training & proficiency check requirements, including initial, recurrent, refresher and continuation training for operational personnel, is to harmonise the rules across Member States by establishing common training requirements to be met by aerodrome operators.
This course focuses on the EASA regulations ADR.OR.D.017 Training and proficiency check programmes to enable participants to interpret and implement an effective and compliant training programme.
The course will also provide an insight into CBTA Competency Based Training and Assessment as defined by ICAO and recommended by EASA.
Participants will gain an understanding of the roles, required competencies and associated training activities that should be adopted as part of the aerodrome management system and how to establish a cost effective proficiency checking programme for aerodrome personnel and all other personnel, including personnel from other organisations operating or providing services at the aerodrome.
This 2 day course is designed for training managers, accountable managers and training staff who have responsibility for developing and implementing a training and proficiency checking programme.
