To support the company’s expansion, airsight is looking for dynamic and motivated aviation consultants to join our team in Berlin, Germany.

Engineer / Consultant (m/f/x) Aviation, – Aerodrome Safeguarding –


Your responsibilities:

As a member of airsight’s „Aerodrome Safeguarding and Flight Procedures“ division, you are working on international consulting projects, incl. tasks such as:

o construction of obstacle limitation surfaces (OLS)

o assessment of the impact of obstacles on the safety and regularity of flight operations

o preparation of aeronautical study reports and expert opinions 

o presentation of project results

o provision of advice to clients

Support of airsight training with the development of training material; potentially acting as a trainer

 

Your profile:

University degree in aeronautical engineering, or equivalent 

Professional experience (at least two years) in the aviation sector

Well-founded knowledge and experience in the field of ICAO, EASA and other regulations with regards to aerodrome safeguarding, aeronautical obstacles and obstacle limitation surfaces

Knowledge and experience in the design of flight procedures and contingency procedures as well as in flight operations preferred

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, self-organization, intrinsic motivation, and commitment

Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

Ability to work together within a young, dynamic flexible and committed team

Knowledge of Microsoft Office suites (e.g. PowerPoint, Word, Excel); familiarity with CAD software (e.g. MicroStation) preferred

Excellent verbal and written communication in English or German, knowledge of other languages is advantageous

willingness to travel 

Excellent sense of customer-oriented services

To support the company’s expansion, airsight is looking for dynamic and experienced project manager with a sound technical and commercial background to join our team in Berlin, Germany.

You have at least three years of experience in at least one of airsight’s above mentioned core competencies, as well as in the management of complex aviation consulting projects, including commercial aspects.

In close cooperation with our clients, you are able to manage all aspects of project management to ensure the timely and successful project completion.

You should be experienced in actively building and maintaining close working relationships with clients, interfacing with stakeholders, and coordinate a multi-disciplinary team.

Based on an excellent knowledge of the market and the competition, you should be able to develop sound technical and commercial proposals, ideally including contractual aspects.
