airsight is looking for dynamic and motivated aviation consultants to join our team in Berlin, Germany.

Project Engineer / Consultant / (m/f/x) Aviation – Aerodrome Certification and Auditing

Your responsibilities: 
As a member of our Aerodrome Certification Department you will be involved in the national and international project work. The range of topics and tasks covered includes, among others:

  • Carrying out compliance checks of the infrastructure, operations and organisation of aerodromes,
  • preparation, conduction and follow-up of audits and inspections (partly at the client's premises),
  • further consulting services in the areas of compliance monitoring, safety management, airport operation and administration,
  • support of aerodrome operators and Civil Aviation Authorities in the certification of aerodrome facilities and airport operations,
  • conduction of safety assessments for aerodromes,
  • preparation of technical opinions and statements for various subject areas (including compliance, safety, operations, infrastructure, ...),
  • advising our customers in the above-mentioned subject areas, partly on site, support the airsight project management in the organisation and implementation of the consulting activities and presenting the generated project results,
  • supporting our training department in terms of content creation and development of new training course concepts and documents,
  • conducting training courses in the area of aerodrome certification and compliance soon after being hired.
  • Technical support of procurement procedures in accordance with the national Regulation for the Ground Handling Market (BADV)

Your profile:

  • A master’s degree in aviation, civil engineering or transport engineering, economy (or comparable) and ideally already practical work experience in the aviation sector
  • Fluent in German and English (more than half of our customers come from non-German speaking countries) - French is a plus, but not a requirement.
  • First experiences in auditing are a plus
  • A reliable, well-structured and independent personality.
  • A high degree of analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • A strong team orientation and willingness to travel.
  • Very good presentation and communication skills in German and English.
  • Ability to set the right priorities and maintain an overview at all times.
  • The ability to work independently and organise projects in a structured manner, as well as an above-average level of commitment to achieving a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Experience in the use of CAD software. 
  • Experience in working with Microsoft Office products.

Zu unseren internationalen Kunden zählen Flughäfen, Luftfahrtbehörden, Flugsicherungen und Dienstleister im Bereich der Energiewirtschaft und zugehörige Planungsunternehmen.  

Für unser Büro in Berlin suchen wir schnellstmöglich eine/-n  

Projektmanager (m/w/d) Windenergie  
Schwerpunkt Bedarfsgerechte Nachtkennzeichnung von Windenergieanlagen  

Ihre Aufgaben umfassen: 

  • Sie sind als Mitarbeiter unseres Planungs- und Beratungsbereichs nach einer umfänglichen, thematischen Einarbeitung mit der teils eigenverantwortlichen Betreuung von Projekten im Bereich Windenergie befasst. Die Bandbreite der dabei behandelten Themen beinhaltet u.a.:    
    • Prüfung von Planungsunterlagen für Windenergieparks,  
    • Analyse und Bewertung von Planungen zur Ausstattung von Windenergieanlagen mit Systemen der sog. „bedarfsgerechten Nachtkennzeichnung“ (BNK),   
    • Erstellung CAD-gestützter Zeichnungen,   
    • Erstellung von gutachterlichen Stellungnahmen zu o.g. Thematik,  
    • Abstimmung / Koordination mit den Projektbeteiligten,  
    • Weitere Tätigkeiten wie Projektdurchführung und Projektmanagement.   
  • Sie unterstützen die airsight-Projektleitung außerdem bei der administrativen Durchführung der BNK-Projekte.   

Es erwartet Sie:

Wir erwarten:  

  • Studienabschluss oder abgeschlossene Berufsausbildung im Bereich Luftfahrt, Verkehrswesen oder vergleichbare Qualifikation (praktische Berufserfahrungen sind von Vorteil)  
  • Interesse für das Thema Windenergie  
  • Kenntnisse auf dem Gebiet Flugverfahren sowie flugbetriebliche Kenntnisse sind ein Plus, aber keine Bedingung   
  • eine zuverlässige, gut strukturierte und eigenständige Persönlichkeit  
  • ein hohes analytisches und konzeptionelles Denkvermögen   
  • die Fähigkeit die richtigen Prioritäten zu setzen und jederzeit den Überblick zu behalten  
  • Erfahrungen mit CAD-Software sind ein Plus, aber keine Bedingung  
  • Erfahrungen im Umgang Microsoft Office Produkten.

Aviation trainer – Aerodrome Safety & Operations – 

Your responsibilities: 

As a member of the global airsight team, you are providing training for national and international clients, incl. tasks such as: 

  • Support of airsight training with the development of training material. 
  • Deliver high quality training courses, acting as a Trainer remotely or onsite at the client premises;
  • Promote the airsight brand and consultancy activities.

Your profile: 

  • University degree in aeronautical engineering, or equivalent  
  • Solid background and professional experience in the aviation sector. 
  • Knowledge and experience in the field of ICAO, EASA and other regulations  
  • Experience as a trainer and knowledge in at least one of the following topics:
    •  EASA regulatory framework
    • Compliance management / airport certification
    •  Safety risk management
    • Airport operations (i.e. AWO, Aeronautical data management, apron management, etc.)
    • Emergency response 
    • Airport planning and design (knowledge of annex 14 and EASA CS)
    • Sustainable aviation (noise management)
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in Italian and English is mandatory, knowledge of German is preferable but not mandatory, knowledge of other languages is a plus 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, self-organization, intrinsic motivation, and commitment 
  • Ability to work together within a passionate, dynamic flexible and committed team 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 suites (e.g. PowerPoint, Word, Excel); 
  • Willingness to travel  
  • Excellent sense of customer-oriented services
