The Commission delegated Regulation 2020/2148 regulations for aerodrome and competent authorities came into force at the end of 2022 introducing, amongst others, updated requirements for Training and proficiency check programmes.
The aim of the new Training & proficiency check requirements, including initial, recurrent, refresher and continuation training, for operational personnel is to harmonise rules across Member States by establishing common training requirements that should be complied with by the aerodrome operators.

This course focusses on the EASA regulations ADR.OR.D.017 Training and proficiency check programmes to enables the participants to interpret and implement an effective and compliant Training programme.

Participants will become knowledgeable of roles, required competences and related training activities that should be adopted as part of the aerodrome Management System, as well as establishing a cost-effective proficiency check programme for aerodrome personnel and any other personnel, including personnel of other organisations that operate or provide services at the aerodrome.

This 2 days course is intended for Training managers, Accountable managers and training staff who has the responsibility to develop and implement training & proficiency check programme.

Trainer

Daniele Occhiato

Daniele is a trainer with over 12 years of experience in the aviation industry. 

He holds a degree in aerospace engineering and a master's degree in Aviation Safety. In 2020 he joined airsight's team in the safety & operations department, as a project engineer and auditor, using his experience in airport operations, apron management service, ground handling, Safety Management System, airport emergency plans, auditing and compliance management. Since 2024 he is Director of airsight Italy S.r.l. 

Daniele has held positions in the airport sector as a certification figure and has an excellent knowledge of regulations (ICAO/EASA), international best practices and their implementation in the airport environment.  

In airsight, he contributes to the analysis of risks related to major upgrading works, revision of airport contingency plans and compliance audits in the international context. 

Azzurra Ilaria Cortinovis

Azzurra Ilaria Cortinovis works at the Training & Development Department at SACBO S.p.A. (Bergamo Airport). She holds a Sociology Bachelor Degree in Tourism and Local Community and also has an additional Aeronautical Technical Expert Diploma and a Trainer Qualification. Azzurra is a Co-Author of “Regulation (EU) 139/2014: Training and Proficiency Check” and fittingly, will give lectures on aerodrome training and proficiency checks for airsight, in collaboration with Bergamo Airport. 

Simone Nadin

Simone Nadin works at the Airport Operations Department of SACBO S.p.A. (Bergamo Airport) and is, among others, responsible for the aerodrome manual updates, the wildlife management plan coordination and A-CDM Process management. He is also a trainer and assessor for SACBO. Simone owns a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bergamo. For airsight, he will give lectures on training and proficiency check programs for aerodromes in collaboration with Bergamo Airport.

Course Location

This course will be held at the premises of our hosting partner who will provide the classroom and the necessary training equipment. Participants are responsible for organising their own travel. Accommodation and travel costs are responsibility of the participants. Please note that neither airsight nor the hosting partner make any travel or hotel bookings for participants. Directions to the meeting venue will be provided prior to the course.

The course hours are scheduled as follows:

first training day: 10:00 am - 6:00 pm
follwing training days: 9.00 am - 5:00 pm

Coffee breaks and business lunch are included in the course fee. At the end of the course, all participants will receive an airsight certificate based on EASA training regulations, which is highly recognized throughout the aviation industry.
