The position is available at our office in Berlin as soon as possible, on a permanent and full-time basis (40 hours per week).
Your tasks:
In our Flight Procedure Design and Aerodrome Safeguarding department, you will be involved in managing national and international projects. The range of topics and tasks includes, among other things:
- Safety assessments and obstacle surveys at airports
- Analysis and planning of facilities, systems, infrastructure, and operational processes at airports
- Design, testing, and optimization of flight procedures and airspaces
- Preparation of expert opinions, feasibility studies, and aeronautical studies
- Content preparation and implementation of training courses for national and international aviation experts
- Other activities such as acquisition, preparation of offers and presentations, tender processing, project management, and project implementation
Your profile:
- Degree in aerospace engineering, transportation engineering, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience (at least 2 years) in aviation consulting or flight procedure planning
- Knowledge and experience in the design of flight procedures (conventional and PBN)
- In-depth knowledge of relevant international and national aviation regulations and standards (e.g., ICAO, EASA, national aviation authorities)
- Experience in using CAD software, FPD software (preferably FPDAM) and knowledge of flight operations are an advantage
- Initiative, reliability, and strong team and customer orientation
- Ability to set the right priorities and always stay ahead of things
- Business fluent German and English, both written and spoken (at least C1 level)
