For our office in Berlin we are looking for a 

Senior Consultant (m/f/x) Aviation – Specializing in Airport Planning & Master Planning

The position is a permanent role, available on a full-time or part-time basis (at least 32 hours per week), starting in November 2026.

Your tasks:

As a member of our Aerodrome Planning department, you will be responsible for managing national and international projects independently. Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and design of airside infrastructure for airports, heliports, drone ports and vertiports, including the production of CAD-based drawings and plans
• Project management and coordination of complex master-planning projects for aerodromes, heliports, Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) and drone operations
• Preparation of development plans, airport master plans and feasibility studies, taking into account capacity analyses and traffic forecasts 
• Conducting compliance checks on the infrastructural and operational conditions at aerodromes in relation to national and international regulations (e.g. ICAO and EASA)
• Preparation of technical reports and statements on various topics (e.g. infrastructure planning and compliance, safety, and aerodrome operations)
• Project management, project implementation and client communication
• Supporting our sales team with client acquisition, assisting with the preparation of quotations and handling tenders relating to the above-mentioned topics 
• Contributing specialist expertise to our training department in the development of new training concepts and materials, as well as delivering training courses in the above-mentioned subject areas

Your profile:

• A degree in aeronautics, civil engineering or transport (or equivalent)
• At least five years of relevant professional experience in aerodrome master planning, aerodrome planning or operations
• Business-level language skills and excellent presentation skills in German and/or English (more than half of our clients are from non-German-speaking countries) – additional language skills are an advantage
• An independent and structured approach to work with a strong customer focus, as well as the ability to set priorities effectively and maintain an overview 
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills to successfully tackle complex tasks and projects 
• A strong team-oriented approach and a high degree of flexibility, including a willingness to travel 
• Experience in using CAD software (e.g. MicroStation or AutoCAD)
