Managing aeronautical data is one of the many tasks of an airport operator. With EU Regulation 139/2014 and the introduced updates of EU Reg. 2148, 373 and 1645, the regulatory framework has become more complex and detailed.

The objective of this course is to provide participants with a clear understanding of what is meant by aeronautical data and how it should be managed. In particular, the course will provide an overview of the data management process from the originator to its transmission to the AIS provider, analysing in detail requirements and practical solutions to ensure the quality of the data according to the requirements of the applicable European and national regulations.

This two-day training course will also cover the basics of the AIS service structure with particular reference to AIP, NOTAM, SNOTAM, RCR.
