Angewandte Sicherheitsbewertungen an Flugplätzen

*Übersetzung folgt*

Many aeronautical subjects can trigger a safety assessment, e.g. non-compliances, deviations from regulations and changes in operations or infrastructure. Most applications are of proactive nature but just as important are operational risk assessments of occurrences on daily basis.

Numerous guidelines describe theoretical methodologies for safety assessments. The challenges for the responsible safety personnel are getting started, realising this theory in practical applications and balancing an effective safety assessment with available resources. The selection of the most suitable method strongly depends on the complexity of the subject to be assessed.

This workshop-based 3-day course demonstrates participants from all airport safety related fields possible and proven ways of how to conduct safety assessments in an aerodrome environment and enables them to practice it in exercises. Those can range from day-to-day operational risk assessments (e.g. analysis of occurrences / incidents) to safety assessments of small-scale projects (e.g. design of a new apron taxi procedure or construction works on aircraft stands). As a complement to airsight’s “Safety Assessments at Aerodromes” course, this training focusses on gaining first practical experience in dealing with Safety Assessments to address airport related safety concerns.
